Carolina Parra is Professor at Uno.Cinco Latam an environmental organization dedicated to environmental education and youth empowerment in South America.
Carolina Parra is a multidisciplinary engineer passionate about sustainability and community-driven spaces to find solutions to today’s world problems. She holds a Bachelor in Chemical Environmental Engineering and a degree on Environmental Science from the University of Tarapacá. Miss Parra was selected the best student at the Faculty of Sciences and winner of the Santander International Mobility scholarship 2018. At York University she studied renewable energy, environmental education and climate change.
Miss Parra has a vast experience in research, such as numerical analysis of GHG emissions accounting; recycling; circular economy and in the preparation and implementation of environmental management plans. Carolina is committed to developing the ability of young people to become change agents by teaching about solutions to achieve the SDG of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
